A Joyful Record of the Dialogue Meeting 2017

Our eighth J. S. Bach dialogue meeting was held at Madingley Hall, Cambridge from 10 to 15 July 2017. We have a beautiful visual record of the activities and atmosphere of those five days, thanks to Alan Shepherd, who took the photos, and to Lydia Vroegindeweij, who compiled the video. The music ‘Wachet auf’ in the Bach-Busoni arrangement was one of the movements Chiara Bertoglio played on the first day, and it is doubly fitting as we sang the original from BWV 140 in the choral singing session with Suzi Digby. We are grateful to Chiara for giving us permission to use her recording, and to all those who collaborated to create this video.
